The Software Business is a critical part of our growth
strategy moving forward. Our software underpins our "Business
Technology Strategy" and will continue to be a major differentiator
for us as a company as we take market growth. To deliver the
“Business Technology” focused solutions to our customers the
“Business Information Optimization” business unit is a key part of
the Software growth. The “Information Management” part of the BIO
business unit covers Dataprotection and Information
Management. We are staffing up the Sales organization for
this IM part of the business.
In both Dataprotection and IM HP has proven solutions
with market leading technology addressing our customers business
issues.
To support our IM growth plans we are looking for
motivated a Software Sales specialist responsible for selling HP IM
software through direct and indirect sales
channels.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for selling IM solutions and services to
end user accounts within a given territory.
- Build and execute on sales plans for given accounts and
take ownership to reach sales targets.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a funnel to
achieve targets
- Develop close working relationships with the whole IM
sales teams in EMEA to ensure maximum leverage
- Drive opportunities through the sales cycle and manage
accounts through the process
Your Profile
Ideal candidate will have:
- Working knowledge of Information Lifecycle
management/Archiving/Data Protection/Data Management
solutions
- Proven track record in selling Enterprise software
solutions (e.g. Oracle E-Business, PeopleSoft, FileNet,
Documentum)
- Ability to engage directly with C level management to
close business
- Used to working with Corporate customers and Enterprise
Resellers who address this market
- Ability to work within a team so can drive and engage
with the Enterprise Account Teams of the Technology Solutions
Group
- Ability to work independently and be highly
motivated
- Strong business and organisational
skills
