Head of Internal audit and Risk management

Responsibilities:

• Document business processes and internal controls that exist in the company
• Identify risks, perform risks analysis and evaluation
• Evaluate internal controls to determine their effectiveness and efficiency
• Determine the level of compliance with internal policies and procedures, state and federal laws and government regulations
• Create contingency/ mitigation action plan and a system of risk management.
• Participate in the improvement of controls and modifying of policies and procedures for the risk mitigation resolution.
• Within the above maintain the following functions that currently exist:
  • tenders function
  • fraud investigation function
  • retail audit function (operational audit and audit of internal controls) – currently covered by 5 auditors
  • stock control function – currently covered by 13 auditors
  • loss prevention function – through creation of appropriate policies and procedures, inc. insurance management
• Set up the financial audit function (RAP, IFRS – CIS)

  Qualifications:
 

• Higher education
• ACCA/CPA, other similar qualification is a plus
• Work experience in similar position in the company – not less than 3 years or Big4 or Consulting company experience – not less than 3-4 years.
• Financial reporting awareness
• Good presentation skills
• English – fluent
• Self confident, able to defend his/her position
• Independent, Stress-resistant, Business oriented person
